5 Tips to Becoming More Mindful
Mindfulness is everywhere these days, but we've been ahead of the curve for some time—and for good reason! It’s a simple practice with profound benefits for mental health and overall wellbeing.
Here are five tips to get started:
1) Begin each day with five minutes of deep breathing.
2) Practise gratitude by writing down three things you’re thankful for.
3) Fully focus on tasks—avoid multitasking.
4) Use guided meditation apps to build consistency (regulated apps only please!)
5) Incorporate mindful movement, like yoga or tai chi.
Science backs mindfulness as a way to reduce stress and improve focus, so it’s well worth the effort.
Mindfulness doesn’t have to be complicated. Small, daily practices can lead to big improvements in your mental clarity and emotional resilience.
